Hi, I’m Maricela Zuniga—a proud Latina and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. After spending time on California’s Central Coast, I’ve returned to my roots in the Central Valley and am now based in Bakersfield, CA. Coming back home has reminded me of the power of connection, community, and honoring where we come from—all values that I bring into my work with clients.

Over the years, I have found deep fulfillment in walking alongside adolescents and adults as they navigate life’s winding paths. As a first-generation Latina, I understand how important it is to feel truly understood—and how challenging it can be to balance cultural expectations while caring for your own well-being.

Whether you are moving through past or present trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, or family conflict, you don’t have to travel this road alone.
